The Augsburg men's cross country team claimed a 17th-place finish at the 2015 St. Olaf College Invitational on Saturday. Abdullahi Salan led the Auggie men, finishing 28th with a time of 26:29.7.

Abdullahi Salan (SR, Burnsville, Minn.) led the Augsburg men's cross country team at the 5,000-meter Augsburg Open triangular meet at Riverside Park on Saturday morning, finishing second overall with a time of 16:04.3.

Meghan Peyton, who served as interim head coach for the Augsburg men's and women's cross country teams in 2014, will assume head coaching duties on a permanent basis, the college announced on Monday.

Twenty-five Augsburg student-athletes earned Academic All-MIAC honors from fall sports, it was announced on Thursday by the conference office.
