Margaret Gehring has been named the new Head Coach for the Macalester Men's and Women's Track and Field programs, Kim Chandler announced Thursday. Gehring brings many years of experience at the Division III level to her new post with the Scots.
Assistant Track and Field Coach Amanda Smock won her third outdoor and sixth overall title in the triple jump at the USA Track and Field Championships in Sacramento, California last week.
The MIAC announced the 2013-14 Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference honorees Thursday with Macalester picking up 46 honors. This year a record 604 student-athletes were recognized in the conference.
