The Hamline University women's track & field squad earned team and individual academic accolades from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association of America (USTFCCCA).

Joshua Thomsen (men's 400 meter hurdles), Alexandra Maddux (women's 800 meter run), and Jailyn Robinson (women's long jump) represent the Pipers track & field programs on the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field All-Region Team.

Maddux and Rodney will embark on their second-straight trip to outdoor nationals, while Robinson is set to make her first appearance.

Members of the Hamline University track & field teams made a final push toward qualifying for outdoor nationals at the UW-La Crosse Last Chance Meet on Thursday.

The Pipers women took seventh place out of 12 teams with 80 points, while the men took eighth out of 11 teams with 37 points.

The Pipers men are tied for 10th place with six points, while the women are in third place with 31 points.

Christian Velishek was named MIAC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, while senior Jailyn Robinson landed MIAC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
