Lauren Rice claimed a fourth-place finish in the 10,000-meter run and Ashley Carney qualified for the event finals in the 100- and 200-meter dash to lead the Augsburg College women's track and field team on the first day of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the University of St. Thomas Friday evening. As a team, Augsburg sits in ninth-place with a total of 5.0 points following the first day of competition.
