Eagles earn first place vote in UMAC Women's Cross Country poll

ST. PAUL The University of Northwestern women's cross country team earned 26 points in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) preseason coaches poll, which placed the Eagles fifth in the eight-team league. UNW received one first place vote in the balloting as coaches predicted the order of finish for the league championship race in Hermantown, Minn. on November 1.
