WINONA, Minn. — The quick-thinking of Saint Mary's University of Minnesota track and field athlete Tyler Kircher saved the life of a Winona man last Friday, administering the Heimlich maneuver to 82-year-old Gerard Lampo, who was choking on a piece of lettuce at the Ground Round, where Kircher works part-time.
