ST. PAUL -- 2015 represented Alyssa Arends' first time as a participant in collegiate track and field at the University of Northwestern St. Paul. Her indoor season surprised many people because she placed in the top 10 in nearly every event she ran. Arends commits herself to her schoolwork, her friends, and her running with an intensity that is to be admired. She is driven, thankful and servant-hearted in every aspect of her life.
