COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. — It was a busy day for Saint Mary's University of Minnesota's Madeline Eichers at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships. And the Cardinal sophomore made it a memorable one, as well. Eichers posted a career-best throw of 40.4 meters to place seventh in the hammer throw and pace the Cardinal track and field teams during the opening day of the two-day, season-ending conference championships.
