WINONA, Minn. — Now, it's official—Saint Mary's University of Minnesota's Jovan Newsum (Glendale Heights, Ill.) is headed back to the NCAA Division III National Cross Country Championships. Newsum earned his spot on the national stage on Saturday, placing sixth overall at the NCAA Central Regional—and Sunday, coach Ward Berndt got official word from the NCAA selection committee that Newsum's season wasn't over.
