The Macalester men's cross country team placed 19th overall with 491 points at the Central Region Championship meet hosted by Carleton College in Northfield, Minn. The two teams advancing on to the national meet are Loras College, in first with a team score of 101 points, and Wartburg coming in second with 117 points. Mason Tope from Loras College was the individual champion, finishing the 8-kilometer course in 25:16.3.
