NORTHFIELD, Minn. — Katie Stolz (Forest Lake, Minn.) shaved 17 seconds off her previous school record in placing third — and earning all-conference honors in the process — with a time of 11:17.80 to pace the Saint Mary's University of Minnesota track and field teams at the MIAC Outdoor Championships Saturday. Stolz's performance, which concluded a remarkable junior season that also including All-MIAC and All-Region honors in cross country last fall — not to mention earning the MIAC's Elite 22 Award — was just one of many stellar showings for the Cardinals.
