Macalester raced at the St. Olaf / Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM) Invitational in Northfield and placed 11th out of 16 teams. Leading the way for Macalester was Trevot Maggart.
Macalester boasted three of the top four finishers to win the Crown Invitational over St. Thomas, Martin Luther, Bethany Lutheran and Crown. Joe Giamberdino was first overall across the finish line.
Macalester's men's cross country campaign got underway Friday with a dual meet against St. Thomas called The Summit Cup held at St. Catherine University.
